All these senseless acts of violence and killing...when will enough be enough?

36 people injured, 1 person dead....all because we don't have common sense car laws.

4 wheels and doors? Who needs that type of driving capacity?

And more than 20mph? There is no reason why speeds of war should be on our streets.


Think of the children everyone....we need to ban these assault vehicles and keep the American people safe.

We should have background checks and a two week waiting period to buy a car. We should limit the amount of gas we can put into cars to "10" gallons. And we need to have a special "Button" that you need to push with a special tool in order to open up the gas door so you can load in more gas. 

Certainly if we take away everyone's guns the automobile, knife and baseball bat will be the next weapon of choice. 

Coincidentally, all my kids had flown into Las Vegas yesterday for a vacation with the cousins.
Needless to say, I was slightly panicky when I saw that on the news.

"Honestly, it is still way too easy to get a driver's license here. We should make it a much more rigorous process like they have in Japan, I think it was like $3,000 to get a license and super easy to get it revoked if you broke the laws when I was living there. As a result, rarely did I ever see bad driver on the road, but here in Hawaii and on the Mainland...eesh it's scary out there."

we need to get rid of these damned tax paid slaughter lanes that let anyone drive a car right up to our homes.

and those full-auto transmissions are made for only 1 thing.......killing people faster!!!!

We need to stop allowing drivers to use these high capacity roadways.  Nobody needs more than 2 lanes in their direction of travel.  Fewer lane changes statistically make the roads safer. 

We also need to build concrete barricades between all sidewalks and the road to protect against drivers who try to run over pedestrians.  Whatever it costs is okay -- if we can save just one life!

Pedestrians should be required to attend a safety training course, offered by a state accredited agency, and the cost of which is born by the pedestrian.  An affidavit will be issued and must be presented each time the pedestrian buys a new pair of outdoor footwear!   

A mental health affadavit for a driver's license would go a long way towards preventing these tragedies.
Judging by what I see on the road every day, it would reduce traffic by 5% ...maybe more.

Don't forget! DR. note saying applicant Has no drug/mental or organic brain disorder and has never been treated for any of the previously listed. Just think, all those kaiser/straub members off the road. No traffic, No need for rail. economic/ecologically  sound.

Driving is a "privilege" that can be easily reinstated with money.

A "Constitutional Right "can be taken away with a simple phone call, and can only be reinstated by the Governor of that State or a Presidental pardon.

Anyone see the difference?

We need universal background checks and close the used car loophole before allowing people to buy a car.
