White House: Obama Thinks Gun Control Will Deter Terrorists


The question at the end is what really bothers me. 

To make it harder for terrorists to get guns, you either have to:

(1) identify who the terrorists are before they acquire guns, or

(2) make it harder for everyone to acquire, which makes it harder for people to defend themselves against all criminals, including terrorists.

This is what we are facing this coming year ..... 

And his little smirk tells me even he doesn't believe the BS he's shoveling for Obama, but he really doesn't care.  He's getting well paid, and is set for life!

Back to the topic we started with ....   

If Obama really believes gun control can stop terrorism to some degree, and he is not simply pushing an agenda using the terrorist attacks as an emotional plea (big "IF"s, I know), then we have a major problem here.

The only way to make it harder for terrorists to get guns is to make it harder for everyone to get guns. 

Since terrorists don't voluntarily stand up in group counseling and say, "Hi. My name's Muhammad, and I'm a Jihadist," we have no way of weeding out the gun purchasers who are planning to kill or who are helping arm others.

And heaven forbid we actually try to better screen and monitor Muslims from countries known to support terrorism.  That would be so racist!!
