Obama just admitted, "If something costs more to get, and if it's more difficult to get ... then fewer people will be able to get it."

He just described Obamacare, and why they have to coerce people to join.

(My CNN free 10 minutes of online video access just ran out, and I don't get cable.  I'll have to wait for the video to be posted later)

We put snipers on mountains and over see the city and start sniping criminals but let the gangs kill each other, don't wanna waist tax payers money to stop gangs and drug dealers from killing each other. People who speed let the snipers shoot the tires out, old folks who drive too slow let the snipers shoot all four tires out and empty the mag in the engine just to make sure !

My take on the town hall:

- Tara Kyle was a BIG LETDOWN. She had all the reason in the world to lay into this guy, and all she had was some watered down softball question for him.

- Rape victim was totally disrespected by him lecturing her on how she 'statistically' wouldn't have been able to defend herself from rape, or her kids from future attackers.

- Sheriff hit him with a hard question about him abusing his power and bypassing congress with executive actions, which he completely ignored

- Gun shop owner put him on blast about enforcing tens of thousands of current laws, and all he gave was excuses about how he doesn't have the staff or funds to do so, so his answer is to enact more law.

- Laughed my ass off with his scenario about 'wouldn't you want a choice of having a gun that can only work for you (referencing new 'gun safety' technology)?' Does he mean like the cell phone technology, or the bank technology, or the identity technology that criminals defeat everyday?

Overall, I felt some of his responses hurt him and will definitely be used against him in the future; especially with regards to what he said about the rape victim. Might be true, but he sounded more interested in validating his own stance than he did sympathizing with what happened to her.

What does he care? He is gone ina year.

You really ought to get more of your questions answered on your own.

Everyone else knows .... Obama has made no secret that gun control is his one big regret to have had no significant changes enacted (he's Mr. Hope and Change, you know).

He promised 6 months ago he was going to do all this.  That's why piggy-backing on a terrorist attack in CA to enact gun control makes zero sense.

He has an agenda.  Period.  No solutions.

Quote
He added: "For us not to be able to resolve that issue has been something that is distressing.
But it is not something that I intend to stop working on in the remaining 18 months."

My comment was in regards to the mention that some of his answers might be used against him in the future. He isnt running for reelection so what does he care if some answer comes back to haunt him?

His legacy matters to him.

The 2016 race maters to him.

He failed on a new Assault Weapons Ban after the Sandy Hook shooting - that matters to him (biggest opportunity to pass another AWB since 2004, and he failed).

His personal belief that no private citizen needs to own a gun matters to him.

His pissing contest with the NRA matters to him.

His "fundamental transformation of America" matters to him.  Toppling the Second Amendment would be a huge trophy on his wall of achievements.

He is the leader of his party, and failure matters to them, which in turn affects the party's opinion of him.

Pushing his Liberal agenda matters to him, because he believes he is right, and all opposition is wrong.

He has all kinds of reasons to care, lame duck or not.

Also the people that go to SRGC and KMCB ranges. As well as Molokai and big island deer hunters.

The guy is clueless. Could not even say Tyranny or Tyrannical.

Lied about Internet and NFA purchases.

A lot of people are unaware of the NFA trust changes that were ruled on the 4th of Jan 2016 that take affect 180 days from then.

Obamas going take your guns common people, you sound like Isis recruiting brain washed people, not thinking for yourself, NRA says  jump in the fire you jump in the fire without thinking, congress tells you jump in the fire you jump in the fire. NRA says Obama going to take your guns away oh let's buy more guns, you are the ones can't think for yourselves, so one sided that you guys can't keep an open mind. no taxes are all well and good
but not worth a crap if you're dead from some criminal thats armed

in the political game, which homObama is playing, its not about compromise, its about playing politics
all the background checks in the world would not stop criminals from obtaining guns illegally, only infringes on the lawful citizens rights to own and bear arms

thats all i'm going to feed the troll.
