According to Fox New the Post instructed those on site to either "run, hide or fight" and the naval authorities will address situation.  In particular, I like the option of being able to fight.  Perhaps a simple and rational justification for conceal and carry (with appropriate training).  Just my thoughts.

That's kind of like that dude doing snapchat last week, instead of running over to check if somebody was stuck in that burning car in Kahaluu.

How are they supposed to fight without the ability to fight?

Heard the report on the radio this morning.  I have friends that work at an installation near there, but they are on a different campus. 

What I've been told is that the FB notification was a system thing where employees can follow an organization's FB page for notifications.  I'd have to check, but I believe we are notified via text message.  But that system will only work if the contact information is updated.  Technically, our supervisor is responsible for accounting for everyone in their department/section/etc, but that isn't always the quickest or most efficient method.
