Placard / Patches / Shirt

Is there a way to get these on maybe a shirt or any on the topic title? It'll be a good way to spread the word around and use it for the fight!

Keep  it Local  :shaka:
I'll take 1 or 2 shirts.
Suggest 2a in front, Georges quote on the back.
Or do I mean the other way around.

Any shirt printing company on the island could have them made. Options are really endless, silk screen, printed, cotton, underarmour type fabric, etc.

I would buy one, would be the first firearms related shirt I ever own.

I would even buy one in kids sizes. Don't know what the wife would say though.... plus with school uniform shirts they rarely can wear any non uniform shirts.

I've been working on getting shirts done at survivor in waipio. Demo shirt would cost me $40.00. Would be blue cotton shirt with white lettering. Concealed carry spelled out on back and silhouette of a 1911. On left chest smaller CCW, HAWAII, 1911. I'm having $money problems since my credit card number was stolen. Plus I have no artistic or  production skills.

If you got the know how or the hook ups let me know.

$40 for a sample? What would be the regular cost?

Now you've changed the original concept.
Would have been hard enough to put the original idea on a shirt without cluttering it and now your adding more.
Besides, I don't have a 1911 (yet).

ok so.....

The quote from GW is misquoted, Do you guys care about that or ?

The quote as commenly shared : A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.

This quote is partially accurate as the beginning section is taken from Washington's First Annual Message to Congress on the State of the Union. However, the quote is then manipulated into a differing context and the remaining text is inaccurate. Here is the actual text from Washington's speech:

"A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies."

Thanks for the update. It is important that we are accurate in our arguments not just having good sounding ones!

Here are some links to some great quotes.

http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/gun-quotations-founding-fathers

http://cap-n-ball.com/fathers.htm

Here are a few select ones.

Founding Fathers on Firearms

"Firearms stand next in importance to the constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence … from the hour the Pilgrims landed to the present day, events, occurences and tendencies prove that to ensure peace security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable … the very atmosphere of firearms anywhere restrains evil interference — they deserve a place of honor with all that's good."
George Washington
First President of the United States

"The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed."
- Thomas Jefferson, letter to to John Cartwright, 5 June 1824

"Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every country in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops."
- Noah Webster, An Examination of the Leading Principles of the Federal Constitution, October 10, 1787

"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined.... The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun."
- Patrick Henry, Speech to the Virginia Ratifying Convention, June 5, 1778

Pro Gun Control

"Our main agenda is to have all guns banned. We must use whatever means possible. It doesn't matter if you have to distort the facts or even lie. Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed."
Sara Brady
Chairman, Handgun Control Inc, to Senator Howard Metzenbaum
The National Educator, January 1994, Page 3.

"If you wish the sympathy of the broad masses, you must tell them the crudest and most stupid things."

"This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration. Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!"
Adolph Hitler
Chancellor, Germany, 1933

I think, therefore I am armed.
