No sense in speculating. The arguments on both sides are endless. Give it some time and the facts will be made known. The only thing that you can conclude from what information is currently out there is that there are two tragedies; one resulting in the loss of son, a brother and a friend, and other resulting in trials and tribulations for years to come for the survivor, no matter what the outcome.

I think one large issue that needs to be addressed is why did these guys all meet up at McDonalds?

I'm thinking this story is more popular because of the recent protests against the government and wall street. It's just right up the current media frenzy alley.  I mean hard to deny that since we are all worried about "What APEC" will do to the people, what the government will do to protestors etc.

I just heard from a Burger King rep that was posting online anonymously as a clown car limo driver, who happened to be working in the area that  night that a Mcrib was indeed  found at the scene.

I read nothing into the fact that he's been charged.  Lots and lots of people get charged with crimes they didn't commit, and an even higher percentage of self-defense shooters get charged.  Time will tell.

AN indictment is NOT a conviction.  I'm reserving my opinions until the facts are revealed........on the individuals as well as the legal system in Hawaii........and the "Golden Messiah's" potential involement in the outcome of it all

I would like to think that facts win out in court, but that is not always the case.  Hopefully the information gets better once the security tapes are pulled.

I wonder if the State Dept will try and suppress the tapes or if they will serve up their boy (with APEC so near, it could be extremely embarrassing to the Fed).

This is true. Was the agent who shot the guy up tantalus charged/taken into custody?
