I notice there has been quite a bit of bashing on this network, so please understand that I have nothing against the young instructor.  He means well, and I wanted to save my self a trip if the event is much as it was sometime ago.  These guys are volunteers and they are spending their valuable time to showcase their particular skill stets as appose to not doing anything in the local shooting community.  Weather it is wrong or right advice, they are doing something to make the local shooting community a better place.

I think the guy you're talking about still runs the show, but I didn't find him nearly as objectionable.

 Your words were not out of context it was simply a quote of your question you posted previously.   I believe I am very positive, maybe it is you that is negative.

I will be out there shooting a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range.

I'll meet "someone" face to face as well, if they're there.

Video of the impending mma match please as I will not be there.  Haven't been to a fun shoot in years.  Just got tired of all the pre-shoot lecturing.

I don't go to the funshoots. I checked it out and it is not my bag. I'm more a serious training and serious competition. There's a gun and a gun game for everyone. It just takes time to find it.
