Thinking about getting one.
Any deals, tricks to getting a good price? Rebates? Tax incentives?
I understand that buying a used Leaf will not get you a tax benefit.

I walk by two popular charging stations every day multiple times a day. They are almost always in use. And, a lot of the time one of the stations is almost always in use by the same vehicle (Tesla).

So I would consider this if you buy a Leaf that charging stations may not be available when you want them to be. Also, I assume that eventually charging stations will charge you. They are sponsored and paid for by someone or a company and I doubt it will last forever.

You planning on getting a charging station set up at your home or you gonna charge in parking lots around town?

The drawback for me is the range of 85-107 miles.  Not enough for the Big Island.  Tesla has enough range but too expensive, so for a poor fella like me, I would buy a Prius if I was looking for a cheap running car.  I plan to keep my 16 year old Dodge Cummins until it can't be fixed any more.

From what I understand a 110 outlet should be OK...not as fast. That and leech off what ever opportunities presents itself - like the Chinese. There is a plug at the range

That's interesting, didn't know you could do that.
