Fruit fly solution

Hey guys,

I noticed the bodies of fruit flies, about two days ago, in my fridge and freezer. I did some research and found out they feed on fruits and vegetables so, in seperate zip lock bags, placed various fruits and vegetables. I also made a "trap" in which they cannot escape. I still see these bastards flying around the house, I kill 1 and 3 more come out of nowhere. EVERY piece of food they can consume is sealed and in the fridge, so I know they cannot be feeding. Any advice on what to do? I have one trapped, since yesterday, in a small zip lock bag and he is still alive, I am trying to gauge their life span without food. Any help is appreciated!

fruit fly pheromone
if you were in HI, you could get it at any local nursery/garden shop
put in on a cotton ball in a jar with holes in it and the fruit flies will never leave

i always imagine the conversation goes something like this:
"there's girls in here someplace"
"yeah, but it's only us dudes in here"
"just keep looking, i can smell them."

Ace here on Kauai sells this stuff called methyl eugenol, I can check when I get home from work. It works…make plastic soda bottle trap with the stuff and you'll get chock fruit flies.
