If the State allows any form of legal Carry, (which now includes all 50 States).  The bill would be valid with other states CCW , much like current Drivers Licenses.

HPD will find a way to delay, obstruct, or ignore the law.  Like LEOSA.  They could have a "place to keep" requirement where you can CCW, as long as its from your home to a gun range, gun store, etc.

Is this like the prior Bill which stated if you have a CCW in your State of residence it is valid throughout the country ?

Because the way the old bill was written visitors could carry but not Hawaii residents because we can't get a CCW from our own State.

Almost the same language .

If it passes both Houses and Senate, a veto by the president would send this bill to the grave. GOP majority does not have enough votes to pass a veto.

The legislature would have to find a way and implement a new law. I don't think HPD could stop it.
