I had just gone upstairs to bed. I set my house alarm, which includes motion sensors in our garage and outbuildings. I get in the shower and had just finished soaping up when all hell breaks lose. My house alarm goes off, now my house alarm has both internal and external alarm units, so 3x 130db sirens are going off, I jump out the shower, jog the 5 ft to my bedroom, grab my glock and move back to the stairs. I hit the alarm panel shutting of the sirens and listen, nothing. I move down the stairs and get to the living room ( the lights are on so some one from inside must of opened the door) and what happens, my mother in law walks in the front door, so I am standing in my living room glock in 1 hand and not my glock in the other. Turns out our inside dog was barking and she let it outside. She forgot to turn the alarm off and couldn't work out how shut the alarm of.
