The Passing of a Great Hunter.
« on: April 13, 2016, 08:52:32 AM »
My Uncle Augustine (Inting) Caminos left to go to heaven this past Sunday, 10 April. He was 75. He was a well known hunter on Oahu especially in the Wahiawa, Waialua-Haleiwa area.  If you hunted the Helemano Area, you may have hunted an area called "Augie's Ridge"... This is who the ridge was named after years ago.  Since the beginning when he was only 16 he hunted Helemano, it was his back yard.  He hunted with many hunters and teached many more, he also sewed-up many hunting dogs for his friends free of charge.  We going miss him greatly... Rest easy Unko!

Sorry for your families loss, and that's awesome that a hunting ground was named after him.
