Another update I heard was the shrapnel also punctured his spleen so they will be removing Chris's spleen. I don't know if the kidney can be saved or not yet. But since it was an arterial wound they had to go in right away to stop the bleeding.

Damn, sorry to hear about the accident.I hope he has a fast and full recovery.its always scary to me to hear something happened at kokohead.with friends and family going out there.
