I want to shoot silhouette more often. Most of my friends don't like shooting over there. Sometime in July I will go over to the silhouette side and I'll let you know when I do.

Let's make that a 2AHI rimfire outing. I'll be off island for the first two weeks in June. Anytime after I'll do my best to make it.

I will be busy from the end of June until the beginning of July. I have been talking to Henry at Prime Sports and we were discussing having a Fun Shoot get together BBQ near the end of July or the beginning of August. We will be organizing it after I am done with business.

Let me know, I would love to do something like that.

The winds today was about as good as it gets at Koko Head.

Username: Bushido
Score: 110
Class: 1
Scope: Millet TRS-1
Rifle: Ruger 10/22 Bull Barrel
Ammo: SK Standard Plus
Winds: Variable 5-10mph
Excuses: My bolt gun was being a bitch. Had to hurry to beat the westbound trafffic.  ;D

Also took a shot at the bonus target. Not happy with it but I'll post it anyways. Only took two of these targets. This is with the 10/22. The bolt gun was off by 2" went in the rubbish immediately.

I also shot this target with a rear bag just to see how much difference it would make. Clearly more consistent but score wise not that great. If this challenge was with a rear bag, I don't think my rifle would keep up with some of the high dollars Kidds and Volquartzens I see at the range.

I wish my bolt gun wasn't being such a bitch today. I wanted to print a target with it.

I gave a couple of targets to a 2a member who has a couple of solid 10/22s today. I hope he post them.

Very nice shooting J. I was hoping for more participation for this fun shoot. Oh well I had fun. This is the most I shot my 22s on paper in a long time.

NICE!  Looks like you are going to be the winner of the grand prize. ;)

I'll be shooting this tomorrow.  I'll be on the left side if you want to say hello.  :)

I am going to give it a try tomorrow also if I can print the target(s) tonight. I will be attempting with one of my iron sighted semis.

I was going to do scope since the rifle was already set, but maybe I'll put the irons and sling on.  Might be more fun.

I shot irons today in Class 2. I used the only .22 I had with irons. I used my 90 year Savage take down pump with octagon barrel. It is a model 26 and it was built in 1926. The iron sights are awful on it and my eyes are old and not that good any more. Enough excuses. My score was a 63!

See target 7 below. Target 8-10 was my attempt at the one shot using my 10/22 lightweight. It's amazing how much better it shot this week without much wind.

Very cool gun and the first Iron sight entry. It's amazing how we can hit that small star and not be able to duplicate on the bigger target. I think it's a mental thing. Aim small, miss small. Either way it was really fun shooting this fun shoot. Good luck to all those shooting tomorrow. I'll be off island for awhile and hopefully shooting with my daughter in WA. I'll be following next months shoot online.

oh well, had a sh!tty day. Seems that overcast at Kokohead doesn't do me any favors. Threw a couple 7s out in no man's land  :grrr:
Had some of those days where I wanted to throw everything away in the garbage. I swear that X ring was laughing at me.  :grrr: Took a step back after a few muddabiotchz and those off call shots were likely because I was staring at the sights too long.

Distance: 50 yards
Rifle: CLE A4 rimfire upper
Sights: irons w/ Bob Jones +.50 lense. .038 rear aperture. .072 front
Ammo: Eley Sport
Sling in prone.

I had what I thought was going to be a great fun target to shoot at for one of the future fun shoots. It was going to be on the pistol side. I thought let's try an amusement park trick and let's use the star target and try to shoot out one of the stars. Well, 120 rounds later I still could not get that last little bit at the top. Got most of it by around 80 or 90 rounds. As OF would say, too sadistic.

The top star was about 60 rounds and the bottom star was 120 rounds. Damn, that was hard to see and line up sights or my red dot even at only 25 yards. Check it out:
