3. Russian- biathlon, sniper, junior

Now that's what I call a list and a damn sweet rifle to go along with it.

I use Blazers, Federal Auto Match and American Eagle as my plinking rounds. I don't even bother with the really cheap stuff. As the years have gone by, I've noticed the quality of them has diminished as well. I hope that case I bought recently is up to normal standards. I have some old Blazers (different logo/ over 15yo) that can shoot with match grade stuff.

I'm looking to bring back some match grade stuff. Those are far and few to find in HI.

However, it still doesn't do me a lot of good in the guns that I have to shoot SV in. And I have some Federal Auto Match. But they are HV as well. I use them as plinking ammo like you. I do have a couple of boxes left from a brick of the Federal Champion. It gets used up in my revolver.

I have been hearing a lot of good things about Norma TAC-22. If you can find any of that it might be worth a try. Let me know what you decide to bring back!

I just read that thread today!!! I was kinda surprised considering how well the Super Extra SV shot for me. You would think the more expensive and MATCH marketed ammo would shoot better than something they call "Super Extra". 

It's like when Chevy marketed the Nova in Mexico and couldn't sell them there even though they were wildly popular in the U.S. Turns out no va in Spanish loosely translated means no go. Super Extra?

SW has the Norma Tac 22 in stock. I don't know how the weekday traffic after work will be though. I will definitely hit you up when I get back and let you try whatever I have

Don't go out of your way. But if you want to do some trading I have some ammo you might be interested in trading for.

Someone said in the thread that they thought the head stamp on the TAC-22 was RWS. I have never seen RWS here on the island.

So many rimfire rounds are repackaged under a different name. Some like CCI Green Tag was reported as being pre sorted Standard Velocity. The more info we can get the better bargains we can find
