I know most of you probably already know of and/or use them But i just discovered them, DAM life is easy with stripper clips.  Just loaded all my lose 5.56/.223 onto them and will not be loading any other way from now on.

I don't think too many would appreciated being used to load loose 5.56 onto them.   

And I load AR mags either round by round, 'manually' or with an AR Maglula.  Uplula also has an AR mag loader that is sort of like a stripper clip. . . the ammo version.

That's because the 5.56 has too small a head. I'd be willing to bet if they were used to load 50's that they would appreciate it!!!

Now that we have sufficiently hijacked this thread (my apologies to the OP) I have a confession to make. I rarely use strippers but I almost always use a mag loader of some sort.

Not necessarily. But a big bottle of lube sure helps your 5.56 or 50 cal slide into your stripper easier!
