Criminals smacked her in the head and then took her phone while she was trying to take pics of them.

you might need a permit for  that as well.
We might see more laws curtailing firearms ownership in light of this event. There's always the argument: "Could be worse if he had a gun" instead of "She would be better to defend herself if she (victim) had a gun"
The population who built towering soap boxes will respond by saying that if she had a gun those guys would've taken that from her and used it.
And there goes the see saw teetering towards criminals....

Yeah per some "experts", the lady should have had a dog, ONE BIIIIG DOG,  in the apartment parking lot regardless if possibly no pets allowed.  Don't know if she was dialing 911 before being beat up, but if she did, the cavalry could have been there to protect her in the 3 seconds it took the scum to get to her.  That's what they want you to believe anyway, when seconds count....  Probably some would blame the lady for not running away as the thug approached her.   Luckily the lady didn't hit her head and been a murder victim.

That would have been a good place to have a can of pepper spray.

There are interesting aspects to the video.

The woman did not seem to be afraid of the guys. Not before being hit, and not even after being hit.

(And I mean she did not have a HEALTHY sense of fear. I don't mean cowardice.)

The guy hit her and THEN decided to go back and grab her phone.

She tried taking video/photos. So they wanted the phone. Was that the robbery part of it? Did they rob her before (unlikely, otherwise she would not have the phone, unless they took her handbag but let her keep the phone, which is ridiculous).

Anyway this guy needs to be arrested for assault and battery, no doubt about that.

Anyone can do an online public search of a vehicle on eKokua website.  Info came back with one individuals name.  Check the name on Facebook and a possible suspect is found.  This person has a profile picture of himself sitting in a 4 door Honda.  Video of the car is a 4 door Honda.  HPD just needs to find this vehicle and start asking questions.
