I saw an ad about them awhile back.

A good friend of mine is a sales rep for their products. I saw some images of some gel test with them and it is impressive. They expand a huge amount, I did not see images of any "exploding".

Talk about an propaganda piece.....  I expect the feds will soon ban these.  I think Hawaii law already prohibits them.  Looking at interweb tests of these, they don't look optimal for good penetration.  But they just might be the ticket for emaciated violent crackheads, if you worry about over penetration.

The Rip ammo frags so the theory behind it is you don't have to be accurate because hopefully the frags will hit a vital organ so by this very nature of this ammo makes it illegal here to have. But if I remember  correctly RIP ammo was going to come out wit a non-segmenting  round probably closer to the talon.
