couple of new ones for the new year:
Civivi BullTusk with purple micarta and WE Equivik titanium frame lock with carbon fiber inlays
the Equivik recently won best in show and best imported knife at Blade Show West. both in the factory production knife category. super good opening action
the BullTusk is well made, action is super good too. this one was a bargain at $65
WE and Civivi making some great blades lately. a lot of new ones too

always wanted this Tops Steel Eagle
this is the 11 inch blade version.  this thing is a BEAST!  >:D
1/4 inch thick blade, 1095 steel. Rambo wishes he had this knife. It's like a machete on steroids
I'm going to use it for hard use yard work. can also be used as a larger survival knife.
I'm sure it'll handle anything I throw at it

stropped my Tops Desert Son knife. 3" 1095 blade
came out nearly mirror polished.  I wasn't really looking to polish the edge but it took quite a few strokes on the strop to get it real sharp. with the 1095 steel and the edge being around 25°, it's not shaving sharp but it's plenty sharp enough for its duties

Just picked up a new Civivi S35VN. I lost my previous Civivi and since I had a $50 gift card, picked up one of ther new(ish) flippers with the button lock.

These are on the lighter side blade and handles, which I like for EDC. These are solid knives for a decent price.

Lost 2 knives to TSA this weekend.
No great loss but irritating.
One was attached to my car keys.
The other was a nice but inexpensive folding tanto.

Check yourself thoroughly before going to the airport.🤣
