I just dont trust the polls.  Out of the hundreds of people I know. I know only 1 person who will vote for her.
What state do you live in?

Yeah, I can tell you the primary polling places were packed with Trump supporters. And no, Dims don't always win Hawaii, Reagan won here.

And if there was anything a President could do to ban guns, Obama would have done it already. Although Hillary does have bigger balls than that wimp.

I think any effort for mass gun confiscation in the US would trigger another Civil War.

Hawaii Republican Primary

Total voters 13,777
Trump           5,677 42.44%

Hawaii Democratic Primary

Total voters  33,655
Clinton          10,125 30%

Two and half times as many Dem voters. Clinton only got 30% of the vote and she still got almost twice as many votes as Trump. Trump's no Reagan. Landslide (in Hawaii). (Pure speculation).

Reagan lost the Carter in Hawaii in 1980 45% to 43%. Hawaii was one of only 6 states to award electoral college delegates to Carter.

Clinton would have far more leverage than Obama if she gets to appoint several (or even one) Supreme Courts judge(s) and effectively gets even the relatively small gains of Heller reversed.

I seriously doubt there would be an all-at-once all-gun confiscation. It will be "incremental" as we constantly see. Some firearms and accessories (magazines) have already been confiscated in New York and California. It'll be a steady drip of tax, ban, retroactive ban, etc. of one weapon or weapon "group" ("assault weapons") after another until in 10 years there's not much left except .22LR revolvers, and those will have to be kept secured at a registered range (See: England, Australia, California, etc.).

If the rest of the voters are thinking like you we have already lost to Clinton. While our votes may not really count here by the time they are counted its others thinking just like you that will hand the presidency to H. Clinton. Poor thinking  in my book. A third party vote is a positive vote for Clinton no matter how you rationalize it or do the math.

Only because people keep spouting that mantra. Democrats and Republicans discourage 3rd party votes because it means a smaller chance they will win so everyone makes you think a 3rd party vote is a waste. If enough people though outside the box, a 3rd party could be viable. There are a lot of people out there who don't want Trump and don't want Clinton. They can stay home on election day, or they can vote 3rd party.

A good 3rd party candidate could stand to steal votes from both Trump and Clinton.

I refuse to succumb to fear tactics that herd me into voting for one candidate or another just because a douche is slightly less bad than a turd sandwich.

Take it easy. Your vote for  a 3rd party candidate will be a vote for H. Clinton either way you look at it. Your right is your right and I believe in that all the way.

You keep trying to minimize the difference between the two, when Hillary's history in GOVERNMENT makes her the worst candidate I could imagine.  We don't know how Trump is going to be in office, because he's never held elected office.  Hillary has been in government since Bill was governor.  We see her record.

I'm not going to list the dozens of reasons why Hillary is UNFIT to be President, because you don't care.  All I'm saying is, a vote for Hillary is a vote for the same kind of people that got us in the mess we see today.  If you want more of the same, then by all means, vote for someone other than Trump -- Hillary  thanks you for your lack of support  for her only viable opponent!

Why is Trump the only viable opponent? I don't accept that premise to begin with. It is a circular argument. You aren't going to vote 3rd party because they cannot win and they cannot win because you aren't going to vote for them. Under a different situation where you had well liked republican and democratic candidates then maybe I could accept the argument. But now we have two candidates who are hated so much. The situation is as ripe as ever for the rise of a 3rd party.

Believe me, I get where you are coming from.  You aren't alone.

You asking the same questions ad nauseam is futile, as you refuse to accept the reasoning and logic surrounding the answer  ...

I refuse you accept your logic because it is based on a false premise, simple as that. We will have to agree to disagree then, and I will spend no more time pointing out your faulty premise on this issue.

Quit trolling.  You aren't open to reasoning, and I'm not open to a purely academic exercise when the outcome is 99.5% preordained.

I surmise that if Hillary wins and manages to pass laws concerning citizens' rights to own firearms it won't affect EEF much....because he eats fish

Not voting for Trump is a vote for Hellery and possibly Pocahontas and all the ultra liberal SC justices appointed by them to take your rights.   A win for them will make HI politicians brave to take gun control here to new levels
Be stubborn now and pay the big price later by deciding to comply like a subject, or go to prison or be buried early with the state raiding your families assets.  Your choice.

Hahah!  Once again, trolling by calling me a bully, trying to get another argument going.

To be clear, I am not going to stay home, I am going to go out and vote, just most likely 3rd party. I agree that anyone who skips the vote has the dirt on their hands if we end up with hillary.

The scariest thing is, Trump could get 100% of Republicans' votes in November, and Hillary would probably still win due to the number of electoral votes from majority Democrat states.

If Trump can't get a few swing states to lean his way, Hawaii casting it's 4 votes for Trump, however unlikely, would have zero impact.

13 D states give Hillary 247 votes.
20 R states give Trump 206 votes.

The remaining 7 Toss-Up states only represent 85 votes.

The magic number to win is 270.

Hillary only needs 23 Swing votes to win, but Trump needs 64 out of 85!

This all assumes the current political climate and scandals don't flip a few states from one party to the other similar to when Reagan won.  It kind of makes me wish our 4 votes could be flipped to the "R" column, just to make things more even.

What's interesting still is how not one single state is predicted to go for a third party or independent!  But, I guess 99.999999% of us already see that without having to be convinced!
