OK, So i Just now got of the phone with Wolfwood, If as a group we want to go ahead and fight this were going to need to raise funds, The reason they couldn't take this on contingency (they take the case and wait for the courts to pay them) is because it might take months into years to litigate and with that they basically be operating out of pocket. I asked Wolfwood how much they would need to take this up and the magic number is $15k.

The problem is as edster stated, Untill they implement they system and we see how its going to work, were not sure what is going to happen, That being said any funds rasied could be used to fight any future 2A violation if for example they realize that rapback is illegal and cant be implemented.
Fighting it from a second amendment position is futile.  It is a fourth amendment issue more than a second amendment one.  Plus the circuit court we are in is more likely to rule in our favor based off a fourth amendment position rather than a 2nd amendment one.  Unreasonable seizure of our PII.   I am in for $200.00 towards the legal battle from this standpoint and possibly more.  Lmk

Pretty much just sitting on our hands at he moment, after speaking wolfwood there is nothing to do until we say how they actually try an implement this. The whole thing has so many holes it wouldn't be a surprise to see a rapback mk2 come up next session

London808, we might also check with Steven Stamboulieh and Allen Beck. They worked with Richard Holcomb to fight Kaiser on the HPD permitting medical process. Let me know how I can help.

I'm a little curious why the people on this site think the courts are going to help us?
The 9th Circus court will kill us.  I'd like to see some discussion on some extra legal
things we can do.  Chase off tourists. Disarm cops.  Metaphorically kill the state that
is going to kill you.  If every Democrat in this state left, this would be a paradise.

Been searching the web to see what others have.  Came across this https://www.firearmspolicy.org. Even with them Cali still got all that shit passed.  Buuuut I think we're going in the right direction.  I could help rally a bunch of people to donate etc.

My girlfriend was at the hearing at the Capitol with Espero and his anti-gun crowd, I was on duty and unable to attend. She got really motivated just by being there, and said that "EXCUSE ME, I'M TALKING" guy with the glasses and bald head seemed really irrational, same for that "only scholars should make the laws" woman. She now sees that all those FaceBook and InstaGram posts about liberals acting like whining kids was based on something after all. Back to my point, she and I will both be writing to Ige and Espero to voice our disapproval not only of this law, but their incompetence in pushing it through without even reviewing it. We will also voice that we'll be donating to raise legal funds to repeal this law (if it's passed) and any law that violates any Constitutional right. I think it's a good idea to mention the donation part because that's the only thing that some of these politicians will pay attention to.
