Idk if it differers per island but i went to sports authority today and all of the handguns have been shipped back to the mainland because they have decided to change the date of the store closing. It went from july 31st to july 17th. So since no one would be able to apply for a permit and acquire in time they have sent them back. So they are at 30% now. Who knows when it will change being there is only 12 days left until the 17th.

I purchased a handgun from Kapolei in early June and they called to tell me that the Waikele store will hold it for pick up after they closed at the end of June.  They didn't give me any dates but I told them that the permit will be ready by July 8 and they seemed OK with that.  ???

went to sports authority today. firearms are 40% off but theres a catch. If it ends in a 97 77 or 47 then its a clearance item and the 40% off doesnt pertain to that item. I almost walked out with a Super black eagle 2 for 781 bucks but that clearance item thing brang it back up to 977. Which dont get me wrong is still cheap but wasnt the 781 i thought it was going to be. This is on maui idk if it differs on the other islands. But i believe this is the first day for the 40 percent though.

Went back tonite and they take 20% off the sale price if on clearance. Ended up with this.

If it is considered a clearance item that the price ends at 97 77 or 47 cents then they take an additional 20 percent off. But the item wouldnt be marked down with the 40 percent that started today because it was clearance. Make any sense? So for me the gun new was 1303. They took off 30 percent which brang it to 913. Then 20 percent off of that brang it to 730. The super black eagle 2 were clearance but the super vinci wasnt. but with the fourty percent on the vinci it was listed at 781 i believe.

Was at Windward mall earlier in the week and that location is shut down.  Not sure if everything has been cleared out, but certainly not open and all of the window postings were taken down.

 Waikele probably only open 3 more days. Only ward and waikele open currently. Waikele was pretty bare on monday. Ward will be the  last to close is what the employee told me.

I was in Waikele last weekend, but didn't have a chance to stop by SA.  I heard that Ward was pretty barren for a while.  I might swing by there this weekend and see if they have anything that I could use on sale.  Last few times I went to the Windward mall location, all the stuff I was interested was only 10% off, but that was a while ago.
