Hearts go out to the victims in France.

As a side note, did anyone see how many bullet holes there were in the windshield of the truck?
So when the libratards say "no one needs 10 bullets to kill a deer", this is exactly why we need Standard Capacity magazines

If that happened here, you'd get run over while reloading

    What we know so far

A large truck has ploughed into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day in the French Riveria city of Nice.
The crash, which left at least 70 dead, is being treated as a terrorist attack.
The driver of the truck has been killed by police. They are trying to determine if he had accomplices.
Authorities say the man was firing on the crowd as he drove, and that the truck was loaded with weapons and grenades.
Witnesses said the driver was purposefully aiming the vehicle at the crowd and “zigzagging” so that he could hit as many people as possible. It was reported that he drove into the crowd for 2km.
After the attack, the police advised residents of Nice to remain in their homes.
François Hollande, the French president, is on his way to Paris from Avignon to chair an emergency security and defence meeting at 9am on Friday. The French interior minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, is on his way to Nice.
World leaders, including Barack Obama, have condemned the attack. Donald Trump has postponed the announcement of his running mate.[/li][/list]

I'm going to send this to our Democrat overlords.

If the number of dead at a mass murder scene is the measurement used to call for a ban, Obama has no choice but to demand we ban large, easy-to-get trucks.

Sad, indeed. But does this mean France needs more strict laws on truck control?

Well they need to tighten things up a bit. They already have truck registration, driver certification and safety check requirements imposed.  I think it takes the Frenchies at least three visits to the DMV to get their trucks registered. Also, they require a 30-day wait period for vehicle clearance just in case anyone buys a truck on impulse because they are pissed off. Perhaps they could impose limitations on the number of wheels that trucks have. The less wheels, the less carnage. Requiring a axle hub buttons could also help by making it more difficult and time consuming to add wheels to the truck.  Just sayin'...

Make sure you find a politician that knows absolutely jack$h1t about truck drivers, CD licenses, commercial vehicles,  current processes already in place/requirements to introduce said Bill to get it passed.

And this is why HPD would never go to 10 rd. mags as STANDARD capacity mags are for their self protection.   The following 2 incidents in HI involved 3 officers.   Although the Palolo SB article does not say, but I CORRECTLY remember the reports were that 3 officers fired approx. 48 rds. at the knife wielding suspect.   The Maui incident claims 50 rds. fired , 9 by the criminal which means 41 fired by 3 officers.  Blue lives certainly do matter but civilians with guns lives matter also.  If a civilian died while trying to reload after the 10th rd. the reportd would say that the civilian lacked training and this is proof that the public should not have been armed anyway.

    because "everything is awesome!"

I think 99% of the people watching that Lego movie missed entirely the satire for that piece.

They even show people robotically going through the motions every day, and then singing the lyrics.

So, it was actually a perfect criticism of the world.
