Assuming the department is modern enough to be able to see where the phone numbers called from an officer could be dispatched and try to determine who called.

I gotta say, the people who CREATED the f*cking game app, what the F were they thinking?

Why does the app tell kids to go outside to catch Fukamons at 4am in the morning?

Why does the app put these Fukamons inside a fire station, or whatever?

If they have geolocation information, surely you can omit these Fukamons from police stations, fire stations, hospitals, etc. right? Are they just scattered randomly around town?

Considering that you know kids are the primary users of this app, wouldn't you be more responsible to help them avoid accidents?

There is another game called Ingress by Niantic that "Pokemon Go" copied this concept from.   It's just that "Pokemon Go" made this concept appeal to all the millennials that grew up watching Pokemon.

Huh. I didn't know the content was placed by users themselves. So I guess people are placing these things in hard to reach / dangerous places.

Still, if you are going to let kids place these objects, then the designer of the game should try to make sure they don't place them in risky locations. After all, again, the target audience is mainly kids.

I don't play Pokemon Go but I've seen other parents at kid basketball playing it.  They would plant an egg, wait, then catch the Pokemon when it hatches.  Other users can catch it too.

So I think someone in the fire station may actually have been playing the game too.

I would have downloaded and tried it out just to see what it is, if it weren't for the broad permissions you have to give it to access all your personal info, etc.

Local landmarks (schools, fire stations churches ect....) are area where wild Pokemon appear and places where people can go to get supplies (ingame items) No one at the fire station needs to be doing anything, The game makers make it so you have to travel and visit places to get Pokemon, There are a lot of people complaining about some of the places people are playing the game, such as war memorials, graveyards, the 9/11 memorial and even auschwitz,

Here's what happened, per a DLNR employee: “Two people searching for virtual reality Pokemon Go figures wandered into a sensitive heiau on Kauai, where a cultural protocol was underway.”
