exception

(vi) any semiautomatic rifle that cannot accept a detachable magazine that holds more than five rounds of ammunition;

sounds like bullet button time yet again, or something like that funky rope pull system I saw online.

Seems like this law was already into effect and the AG is adding more or interpreting it in a different way from the original.   Anyways I hope that the whole gun industry unifies and makes an example of MA, like Ronnie Barrett.  No sales to MA  government agencies.   Specify to neighboring states no out of state sales to MA orgs.   In this case it's up to the gun industry to lead this battle.

Basically they had the same law as the 94 ass ban, gun company's were making compliant guns and theynare saying that is not I. The spirit of the law. Starting august variations made to be complaint will no longer be legal.

Hopefully those manufacturers that reside in that state make a stand.

I was going to say, for now.

While living in SoCal my AR went from new purchase to grandfathered in to I need to turn it in or sell it out of state in a matter of just 15 years.

Who knows, but the day it turns into a confiscation is the day the whole country will watch to see what happens I think.
