Massive LinkedIn Data Breach
« on: July 21, 2016, 02:52:55 PM »
I just got word from Life Lock that there was a massive data breach at LinkedIn and that my username and password were among the 16.5 million usernames and passwords for sale on a website on the dark web.  :o :o :o

I went through and changed my usernames and passwords but still it is kinda scary to think about it.   :shake: :shake: :shake:
SCIENCE THAT CAN’T BE QUESTIONED IS PROPAGANDA!!!

Some sources reported it's much higher:  167 million username/password pairs.

I closed my LinkedIn account about a month ago.  Started to,get irritated with all the requests to connect and I didn't see any benefit of having it.  I had that account about 4 years.

Never started on there, but I get requests all the time.  I don't mind the requests actually, but it's the persistent reminders (I assume from the system) that irritate me.

And my info is likely already out there, thanks to OPM. . .  :(
