Folks - not sure if this is duplicated with the other thread on voting.

Please advise pro-2A candidates to vote for.

Also advise what to do for OHA and County.

I got my secret ballot already. Need to send in before August 13.

PS - WTF is the American Shopping Party?! Another attempt at diluting the vote?

I also got my mail in already.  I got in touch with the HRA about grades for Hawaii's candidates, however, they have not got all the replies back yet.  They said it should be coming out soon.

Neither NRA nor HRA have come out with updated ratings. I'm planning on compiling voting records on the gun bills to get an update but it's taking me some time to compile the info.

So I got my mail in voter ballot. Step 1 is to choose a political party. It states that if i vote outside of that party my vote for that candidate will not count. This is the first time for me voting my mail. Has it always been that way? I vote for the candidate not the party.

for the primary, you have to choose a party
the county elections are nonpartisan, so you can vote for any candidate
