Thanks for sharing, the more info we have the better informed we are. This composite bullet thing is brand new to me but the "best SD round" has been around since forever. I'm sorry, I'm just not buying into it quite yet. I'm just thinking a 85gr composite vs a 147gr expandible.

That is why they had to redesign the bullet. The polymer bullet wouldn't expand so they but those cut outs that do damage in a different way according to one article. The weight did stick out to me too though.

Checked out 2 walmarts and 3 gun shops in Sacramento and could only find CCI .22 shot shells on the shelf at one shop all the rest of the shops are 86 on .22lr seems .22lr is really popular here.  They are also pushing ccw to any resident who is interested in getting a gun! 

Thank goodness we live Hawaii!

I don't think it has anything to do with the popularity of 22lr in California as it does with the strict gun laws there and moreso the hoarders. There's plenty up in OR and WA or at least until the upcoming election. Maybe you should order online and have it shipped to where you are staying. #11 equates to about 2 1/2 bricks. Bring me back some  :shaka: :shaka: :shaka:
