Superman is going to be pissed when he finds out someone stole his"magic" crystal that his Dad gave him when he cast him out of Krypton and smelted it into a crowbar.

I'd delete this ASAP.

Wait, so what................we have to "charge" it up with light, or is it a black light thing?

Wait, so what................we have to "charge" it up with light, or is it a black light thing?

From the site:

Using a new Silicate-Aluminium-Oxide-based powder coating, it glows up to ten times brighter than conventional glow-in-the-dark items.

I'd guess it's the former.

But how am I supposed to commit crimes with it if it glows?

The pages on the books in the picture where the crowbar is glowing would be bright purple if it were a blacklight shot, and in the picture where the bar is by itself, the bar is clearly phosphorescing. Also, it would be a real stretch to market a crowbar painted white as "glow in the dark".

Somewhere, some time ago, on some other site, someone posted something about using glow in the dark paint for painting their gun sights. Apparently there are many different grades of the stuff and some of it will stay 'lit' for quite a while (hours).

There's quite a few sellers on ebay, and here is just one example. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Glow-on-gun-sight-paint-large-9-2-ml-vial-7-5cm-x-20cm-S-Adhesive-glow-sheet-/220907134488?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item336f175e18

It was a while back that I posted a thred for such paint for gun sights.  Not that I know where that is.

I was going to suggest epoxy painting using the glo in the dark paint.

I think it is sold in a large enough quantity to do more than one crowbar.

Might make a good companion to the Soviet Spetnatz titanium crowbar the Wife gave me for Christmass a while back.

Maybe a good future project for one of my small 'bar.

OK I see.  BTW the bar shouldn't be white after wacking a couple of zombies.

Well, at least this isn't one of those break-and-shake glowy things.
