From this video, I'd say the Legion's trigger is close to, if not exactly like, the one in my P320.  That alone makes it an upgrade from the other P226 models.  I'm very happy with the P320 trigger, but have to say it requires some practice to avoid it firing sooner than you expected.  VERY short travel and lighter than a stock Glock trigger.

The checkering on the front and back straps would of course be judged on individual preference.

I think a Sig fan, collector, or someone looking for their first/next P226 would be wise to consider this one.  If you already have a P226, you should try the Legion or P320 trigger to see if that's worth the switch.  Heck, you might decide the P320 price, striker firing design, polymer frame, lighter weight, and size/caliber conversion kit features make you like it even better than the P226!

I have the P226 MK25 and the P320 with 2 9MM frame/slide parts:  Full and Compact.  IMHO, the P226 is my favorite to shoot, but for training, carry and competition-style shooting, the P320 wins.

If youre looking for one, xring has a 9mm 226 legion.

Id compare the legion to an elite model since the mk25 doesn't come with the SRT.

For the higher price you'd definitely have to take in to account the collectibility of the legion series.

The grey finish, the checkering & contouring under the trigger, reduced profile controls and the g10 grips are something you wouldn't get on any other model. The trigger is a grey guns intermediate trigger which has a profile inbetween the standard and short reach trigger.

I dry fired a p226 single action only model on a couple occasions.  that trigger is ridiculously nice.  it reminded me a lot of a 1911 trigger, but i could also be biased toward 1911s.  break was clean, and reset was very short and crisp.

I didn't buy one, but i think i'd have a hard time justifying it.  all that extra capacity from a double stack 9mm pistol is somewhat useless in Hawaii since us common folk are limited to 10 round magazines.  on the other hand, a 9mm 1911 seems like a better choice to me.  the 10 round mags for the 9mm 1911s only stick out just a wee bit.

I have one and I love it I don't have a 320 so I can't compare it but between my glock 35 and my sig 229 I love this one the most

I carried a P226 for over a decade and fired a ridiculous amount of rounds through it.  I have a lot of time behind an X5 Tac.  I also have a P320.  If I were to get a P226 it would be an SAO variant.  Quite honestly the X5 is a better shooter than the P226 but I still like the P320 better.  I would not personally be in the market for a Legion, but it is a good thing that we all don't like the same things.

And that youtube video reminds me why I dislike youtube more and more all the time.
