I've been "moderated" on this site because it is full of cops, cop lovers, and
Hawaii law obedient guys, so I take care with my words.  If Hawaii( Hillary) outlaws guns
lots of guys will stand in line to turn them in.   I think that some people will resist
to the detriment of the police.  A smart,  dedicated person can and will get to the
gun grabbers,  then go home safe, have a micro brew,  and a good laugh.
90 million gun owners vs  1-2 million
cops.  By many estimates( some from civil beat) there are more guns than people in Hawaii.
Action is always quicker than reaction.

I definitely DO NOT think there is any special interest or consideration given to LE on this site.  I think this forum is pretty split on that topic.  There are those here that support LE and are "Hawaii Law obedient", but "in general" I actually get a more negative or anti LE vibe from the forum and a core group of its members. 

Maybe you get moderated not because there is any special love or consideration given to LE here, but possibly due to the fact that your comments may be outside of what the moderators feel to be civil discourse?  Fly by or pot shot posts is often not accepted on many forums, especially if a member has a history of doing it.  Instead of the preface to your post that came across to me as ax grinding, you could have simply made your point you wanted to make that "some gun owners will take a stand if it came down to confiscation" and that type of situation might not bode well for LE or those tasked to confiscate the weapons.

Hey man I get it, I do.  Let me just say this as something to consider.... 

I am 50% / 50% in my mix and currently live homestead.  4th Generation Daughters and Sons, taking care of Mauna Ala.  Partially raised and educated on the mainland, so I get how both sides think.  In my own peer group, I am good heartedly considered the pro-Hawaiian outlier, but I let there be no misunderstanding that I am a proud American of Hawaiian descent.  I get it, but perhaps I may differ on how we as Hawaiians may come to a solution.  The biggest issues we face in this modern day, is that we can be our own worst enemy.  Something to consider.

Agree about the cops, we have one here constantly posting and attempting to provoke incriminating comments.
