Does anyone know if there is perhaps a website or number to call which informs if the range will be closed during normal operating hours, like when they closed it for the brush fire, or the loose roof panels?  As far as I can tell, it its a drive down there first to find out process, just wanted to save the gas and time if its going to be closed.  Also, I heard a lot of the benches at the rifle range are now off limits due to the roof panels flying off, does anyone know if the situation has changed?

There is a website at: www.khsc.info but the person who runs/owns it used to work there and as far as I can tell no longer keeps it updated. From the website you can also find the phone number for the range. Sometimes they update the message but most of the time they don't. So you are in the same boat as the rest of us in that I have to drive all the way from Kapolei to find out if it is open or not.

If the owner of the website would like to turn over the domain name and website to me I will volunteer to keep it updated the best I can.

I'll do this for the 2a crew.  On the weekends that the range may or may not be open, I'll drive by on my way out and post here.  Only when it's questionable if it's open, not every weekend.

one problem, on the weekends I don't wake up until 9ish.
