Refinished pistol for IPSC

Looking for a definitive answer on the local rules for shooting with the MPPL / IPSC on refinishing my M&P.
It's a no-go right? I'm very excited to be joining you guys soon and didn't want to disqualify my firearm. Thanks!

After looking up the rules for IPSC and USPSA, you can refinish a gun and still compete in the Production division as long  as the modification offers no competitive advantage.

You should verify that with the club organizers.  They have an email address on their website.  mppl@hawaii.rr.com

this is a tricky question. Its yes and no. If you're  shooting mppl or any of the clubs down here its under USPSA which is the american version. Under them its ok to refinish the gun.  While under IPSC it is not production legal and you would be in limited class.  Hope that helps.
