This sort of occurrence is ramping up, as judges have been ruling in favor of universities in these cases. There are many unique articles on this incident but details on the actual alleged expulsion are still a bit scarce.

Talk about thin skinned. This would be an interesting case to see in court. The university would have to prove number of things including but not limited to, the date it was taken, the identity of the person in the photo, the identity of the person who actually shared the photo. If (i hope) the university loses then it could be a valuable lesson for their law college to study!

This sort of case is unlikely a contest of proof and won't be determined by a jury. The judges will dispose via summary judgement, maybe at the appellate level. SCOTUS in 2007 ruled that schools can discriminate by viewpoint and punish students for speech made off school grounds, that the school dislikes. :grrr:
