Did a little checking into these bums.

Apparently this group of derelicts has a long history of theft from various stores around the island.

They've hit pearlridge, windward mall, ala moana, different walmarts and various other stores.

Do not for one second believe the BS story concocted about them trying to get presents for their poor children.

Interesting how society now is different from when I grew up as a kid.  I was raised in Kalihi, and grew up with a belt or a hotwheels track slapped several times up my ass if I ever even thought of wandering down the wrong side of the tracks.  My parents were strict, yet I learned to be happy with a roof over my head, clothes on my back and food on the table.  As for toys, we made do with what we got - I remember making rubber band guns with a clothspin and a broom stick when I was a kid.  Also remember going to the old Dairy Queen store by the Liliha Library with my Dad as a reward for pulling weeds in the yard all day long.   Was great getting an aloha shirt or BBDs for Christmas - remember those days?  I finished school, and also got a college degree.  I work my ass off for my kids - and teach them right from wrong (without the belt or hotwheels track of course... I use the "mean eye" or raise my voice a little to get em back on track...). 
It's sad when I read about folks making poor choices.  It's even funnier when they get caught on camera!!!

oh damn! hot wheel tracks give me flashbacks! lol
