Bought this gun for my wife and she is loving it. By the way, I am too. Accurate just like my Mark III but without the hassle of difficult disassembly & reassembly. Yassss!!!

Welcome Joe. Post this in the thread linked above in old farts post.

Thank you for posting about the mk4.  Love to hear a full on review for it, if you have the desire..

Hope the price drops some on these. Seems kind of high for a .22lr, but I wouldn't be opposed to paying if the quality warrants it.

I sold my Ruger Mark III & Ruger LC9S 9mm pistol to get the Mark IV. My wife and I put 200 rounds in the M4 yesterday. Truthfully, it doesn't shoot any better than the M3 but it was nice popping the magazine in and out. Unlike the M3, I had to constantly wrestle with the magazine. It did jam several times, unfortunately, but not nearly as many times as the M3. The most significant difference is the disassembly and reassembly of the M4. I wish every gun good be disassembled with one button. Total genius. Great for gun rookies like me who are YouTube  tutorial dependent. I gave up two guns to upgrade to this one. I would not pay the price for the current rate  if it wasn't for the extra cash I gained by selling my two guns. I would wait till the prices drop considerably. I can't stand thinking that I could've gotten a decent 357 revolver with this kind of money. Haha! With that being said, I'm glad I had two guns to sell to upgrade to the Ruger Mark IV. Shooting .22LR in the long run is an absolute joy to my body and wallet.

TMI chief!

Approximately how much was it?
What ammo had the jams?
How did the gun jam? Feeding? Ejection?
Enquiring minds want to know!
What, Me Worry?

Used Aguila ammo as shown here. The jam was during the feeding not ejection. Paid $700.

Could it be too easy to come apart?  If holstered and something presses the button(my big gut) could the upper just fall off?  I ask because I watched some stuff on Youtube and am curious because it seems to come apart pretty easily.

No. it's secured. You gotta press down with good amount of pressure to get the slide to come off.
