Cornflake cookies or a semiautomatic rifle? A neighborhood mom-and-pop shop where kids flock after school for fresh cookies and shave ice has an unusual sign in its window: “Danger Close Tactical: Firearms and Ammo.”

I don't have access to a physical paper at my location nor do I have an online subscription. Hopefully someone can post the whole article here. I know Dwayne and his wife and I support both of their businesses, where else can you get good cookies, firearms ammo all in one place, MURICA! I hope Susan Essoyan talked to Dwayne and Kelly and was honest about why she was there and what she was doing. I will reserve my other thoughts and comments until I can read the entire article. Maybe we should all email susansessoyan@staradvertiser.com

Didn't seem Anti 2A, just stated facts. Might even be good for Dwayne's business.
Thanks for posting the article RSN172

When someone told me about the headline, I thought it would be a gun bashing article.  After reading it the beginning seemed a little bit anti gun trying to show guns being sold where kids were, but after reading the rest of the article I think my fears were overblown and it was pretty good.  Seems like they portrayed gun sellers as everyday responsible people in the community.

If you want to help support the people in the article, you can write a letter to the editor.

Cookies and guns at Dwayne's place. I've purchased both there. Both are worthy.

They sell soda there too, just think of all the sugar.  I've had the pleasure of dealing with Dwayne and he's an awesome guy!!

I don't subscribe to SA and couldn't read the article but the title don't sound good to me.   I subscribed to Star Bulletin for over 30 years then couldn't take their left wing bias and stopped giving them my money.
Don't miss it.
