The kind thing would be to say they just got it wrong.

Another possibility is that they wanted to discourage people from even attempting to vote for Trump. You can do the same thing with fake poll results.

That video is priceless.
On election night it was absolutely hilarious  to watch the nbc and cbs anchors in stunned disbelief.
It was like somebody died.
Colbert was livid and flustered. He sounds like he is trying to instigate a coup now.
Don't these people get it? HALF OF THIS COUNTRY DISAGREES WITH THEM!

It is like a spoiled kid, screaming the same thing over and over.

I get so pissed everytime I see the media lie about "the overwhelmingly popular Obungacar",  where the fact is over half the country wants and wanted, nothing to do with it.

Keep repeating the lie, was that not Joe Goebbels idea?

It's pretty much classical groupthink. They locked themselves in an echo chamber and wonder why their hallucinations don't reflect reality.

The difference up until this point is that those machines of influence that used to work so well in the past aren't functioning any more. People realized that despite all the hopey changey talk that Obama basically put forward the same policies as Dubya, concentrating executive power and protecting corporate greed. People no longer trust the media that protected them both and then tried to hand us the very same criminal family that allowed media consolidation back in the 1990's.
Stop blaming lazy people. We didn’t do anything.

I'm sorry, it's five days after the fact, but I have nowhere near reached my schadenfreude quota. There are plenty of youtube videos, like the one by the OP, including a number of them set to "Hall of the Mountain King". Here's one that does NOT include the uproarious laughter by Bill Maher's "Real Time" crowd at Ann Coulter's (early on) suggestion that Trump could win, but it DOES include the classic (oblivious, totally out of touch, ignorant, deluded) Clinton quote of "Why aren't I 50 points ahead?!" Gotta love that shit!

Here's the context of her making that remark/question: She was addressing a labor union, long strongholds of the Democratic party, on September 20, 2016.

Hillary Clinton gave voice Wednesday to a question on the minds of many of her fiercest advocates in her race against the controversy-prone Donald Trump: Why isn’t she way, way ahead?

The Democratic nominee raised the issue here during an address via video conference to a gathering in Las Vegas of the Laborers' International Union of North America.

The former secretary of state ticked off her pro-union positions, including investing in infrastructure, raising the minimum wage and supporting collective bargaining.

“Having said all this, ‘Why aren’t I 50 points ahead?’ you might ask?” Clinton said. “Well, the choice for working families has never been clearer. I need your help to get Donald Trump’s record out to everybody. Nobody should be fooled.”

[She then goes on to interject more of her "deplorables/irredeemable"-type characterization about anyone who would vote for Trump: they are mentally ill or have and addiction problem requiring intervention. Was she "joking"?]

“If you do know somebody who might be voting for Trump, stage an intervention,” Clinton pleaded with her remote audience. “Try to talk some sense into them. Lay out the facts. The facts are on our side, about what I’ve done versus what he’s done. Remember, friends don’t let friends vote for Trump.”
* * * * *
Her loss of the presidency couldn't have happened to a more deserving person. I only hope that in the near future a special prosecutor unearths all the facts regarding her various schemes and that she earns what's coming to her on those fronts too (along with Bill and Chelsea (now being groomed for a New York state House seat). I expect some kind of litiation fireworks as Obama's pardon of them all will be met with some kind of counter by those who believe criminals ought to be punished. We'll see. Couldn't be too soon for me.

Agree.

Trump is now on notice.

Americans gave him the election.

Now, show the goods.

Drain the Swamp, and also right in front of him are some crocodiles. Spear them.

The kind thing would be to say they just got it wrong.

Another possibility is that they wanted to discourage people from even attempting to vote for Trump. You can do the same thing with fake poll results.

I don't think it works like that. If you present the picture that Hillary is leading and Trump will lose then you run the risk of motivating more people to come out and vote for Trump. Likewise, if you have a fake poll that shows Hillary in the lead that might create a false sense of security for Hillary voters and people won't make such an attempt to get to the polls and vote.

Highly edumacated BABOOZES!   I wonder if they were just born stupid or they paid someone to teach them to be stupid.   Either way, they're still stupid even sipping their wines or lattes and trying to appear smaht.
