What is that disc looking thing just behind the front sight?

It's a 4-position distance-adjustable sight for elevation.

You can set position #1 for say 25 yds, #2 for 50, #3 for 100 and #4 for 150 yds, for example. Then, you can quickly choose the front sight elevation for the distance you need by selecting the position you assigned/sighted in at that distance.

DETAILS
The Super Sport is a 6”, 6 round, .357 magnum revolver. The frame and all parts are fully machined from the finest billet material available. The sights are extremely easy to adjust and infinitely so. The Roller Trigger is one of the most awe-inspiring aspect of this pistol. There is simply nothing like the action of the Roller Trigger. The smoothness of the trigger is enhanced by a 5-way adjustable double-action mechanism. Trigger stop, trigger return, main spring, double-action trigger progression, and sear adjustment can all be done simply and quickly.

A Lothar Walther cold-forged polygon barrel is used for both accuracy and performance. It comes with Picatinny rails for red-dot sights, lasers, or other accessories as desired. The cylinder can be removed easily and quickly for cleaning or replacing with the optional patented 9mm/.38 Special conversion cylinder. Finger-grooved Hogue grips are standard.

I want a transferable 240B in a bad kind of way.  It's been a long time since I got to fire one.  A buddy of mine bought two consecutive numbered ones for $500,000.  Not many on the registry, so unfortunately their prices are a little painful.   :o  Such damn good guns though!

I'm not a fan of art on firearms either...especially engravings. I always did wonder, however, how the engravings were done so precisely. If i attempted to engrave my own firearm, I would probably end up calling it "Oh crap" because that's what I'd probably be saying every time I screw it up.
