I seen good reviews on the LCR .22lr

Never had any person experience with it though.

I'd recommend against the NAA mini revolvers unless you need something absolutely tiny. They're way too loud, inaccurate, and slow to reload. Stay away from RG revolvers, i had one that wouldn't hit primers hard enough on double action, andmost of its parts are pot metal. The lcr looks good, but I've never shot one. Anything Smith and Wesson is probably good as well. I've shot a full size Smith in 22 and it was a sweet shooter.

I have fired the ruger 22 lcr and instantly loved it.
One of the BEST guns I have EVER fired...bar none.

I have read the trigger pull is somewhat heavy but smooth. What was your impressions on the trigger?

....
The trigger was smooth, not heavy, and stacked up just prior to let off.
So I could take up the slack and pause to confirm the sight alignment just before the shot.
Accuracy at 25 yards was marvelous.
The gun belonged to 2A member teammidori.
I would not hesitate to buy it as a carry piece even though it is a 22.
I don't usually get excited about any gun, but the lcr really impressed me.

I second the LCR .22. I cannot really justify getting one but I really want one. I was reading about barrel lengths and velocity build up. .22 really didn't get enough velocity to do much with a 1" barrels but the LCR 22 is 1.75 I think with helped the round to get up enough speed to actually do some damage.
Check out this article.

Of course people will tell you .22 is bad for self defense which is a whole separate argument we can discuss if interested.

Now I want to fo find one.
I should probably find out what happened to teammidori too.
He dropped out a few years ago.

S&W also makes a pocket .22lr which looks to be a little more expensive.

I have shot and air weight 38spl.  It was a nice revolver and super light, but in .38spl (with +p) the recoil on that super light pistol felt like .357 mag in a 4" K frame that I had.

In .22 that would be a non issue though.

I have 1 LCR in 38sp and 1 in 22LR
Both are great dependable pocket revolvers.
I got the 22 as a practice gun
Trigger is as advertised,  a little heavy but smooth
Being it's a DA 22, the trigger will be heavy,  there's no safety. The heavy trigger is the safety.
I highly recommend both if them for a pocket revolver
