Just discouraged perhaps a few of the half of Americans who voted for Trump from visiting Hawaii and spending their hard earned dollars. Yea! Maybe it's "fake news"? Of course, what do they have to lose? That'd be what, maybe a couple thousand residents of Oahu? Maybe a few more of the tourist contingent... Plus, how would they know if you voted for Trump? Oh, that's right, the swastika on the uniforms... dead giveaway.

They are being monitored on Yelp, I guess when you bring politics into your resteraunt, your asking for some bad reviews.

If that were to happen on the big island, it is very possible a Molotov cocktail would find its way into the premises.

Maybe that all the other "progressive"-owned restaurants (in Hawaii 90%?) would join in the movement and that the Trump-voting Nazis being too deplorably stupid to prepare their own food at home would starve to death? 

Yelp will remove the negative reviews that are just political in nature.

What you have to do is a negative Yelp review saying that you visited the restaurant and couldn't enter because of the sign.

Civil Rights act is restricted to discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.  Politics isn't included.  Nor is that other 2a civil right.

Political affiliation is not one of the protected classes.

Those are the federal standards. States can add their own protected classes, thats how you get the LGBT crowd in there.
