Meryl Streep's speech

Quote
If the Left wins the culture, conservatives’ focus on winning elections won’t matter. Last night, Meryl Streep gave an impassioned, five-minute political speech that encapsulated most of what I hate about Hollywood liberalism. Streep had just received the Cecile B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes, and she used the opportunity to launch a direct frontal attack on Donald Trump.

unfortunately this nation has become one that caters to crybaby whiners.
I couldn't care less what crybaby whiners have to say.
they will march and protest on January 20th, while I will stay home, enjoy a cold beverage, and get ready for national reciprocity, and laugh and point at all the crybaby whiners.   ;)

What she actually meant was; how will us actors get our fix of cocaine and heroin from across the border?  Who will watch and raise our kids many with different fathers or mothers?   Now us actors will have to actually use our precious play time and vote next time. Our craft is Art, not football or MMA.  Art as in "Machete" or "Gunmen" or "From Dusk till Dawn".
She wonders how they'll survive 4 years, it's going to be more like 16.  Canada or Mexico is waiting for you.  If fact you'll be real happy in Juarez.   #MAGA.

I reject actors as no more that airheads that manage to look good on camera and regurgitate memorized lines on cue.  This fascination of the nation for these overpaid pretenders and what they "thnk/feel" is astonishing.

I see the gossip rags at the market checkout, and wonder who really reads that crap.  Who cares about the bowel movement issues of some actor?

When and where did these modest (if that) intelligence talking heads get all this much "relevance" that anyone is supposed to give a damn about their opinion?

My wife is certainly tired of hearing mine, and shushes me lest some neighbor take offense...............

What is surprising is that few people wonder if these actors are ACTING when they appear emotional with their speeches.

Also, who wrote their speeches? How much were these writers paid, and by whom, to write those speeches?

Now all of Hollywood is going to go on strike until Trump resigns:

http://yournewswire.com/hollywood-strike-trump-resign/

A group of liberal Hollywood celebrities are threatening a “massive, all-round Hollywood strike” unless Donald Trump resigns. Describing Hollywood as “the base of the entire modern American culture“, the group also claims to be speaking on behalf of “all of humanity.”

“It’s about time people understood that we’re the ones with the power and that the president is there to serve us, not the other way around“, a spokesperson for the group told The New York Times.

They act like a bunch of elite privileged crybaby morons. Of course this could be fake news!

This is such hypocrisy and irony all rolled up in one. Hollywood - thinking that it is at the center of everything USA. A place where reality halts and fantasy takes over. A place where fake people play real ones. Why? They can portray a SEAL sniper, they can act like an ER surgeon, but the USA will not end if Hollywood strikes. I think it should. They are the fireworks that halt zombies. No real tangible value. Real doctors and real soldiers will continue to save and defend lives.
Entertainment is the byproduct of a great, free and safe country - it is not the foundation of it. Security and freedom is.
Hollywood comes in to tell a story - that's it!

An orator is an orator, regardless of who gives them the pulpit or what their message may be.
Orators can sway public opinions and incite their like minded to action.
(Look at Trump, or Obama for that matter)

Heck, at this rate, just hope Streep doesn't decide to run against Trump in 4 years.
The way this Country's been rolling, she may just have a chance.
