Hey was shooting trap today and was leaving about 1:15 and noticed about 6 cop cars at the silhouette side and an HFD fire truck cruising around.

Sad to hear of today's accident and hope both guys have speedy and complete recovery.
I reload for .357 mag and am curious to hear the facts also.   The main lesson learned I got from this is not to skimp on eye pro.  I use cheapo work safety glasses from Walmart or Gaspro and will research to buy good ballistic resistant eyewear like Wiley x or similar.
Wow getting hit with something heavy like a revolver cylinder can also damage the optic nerve even if not a direct hit in the eye.

Got to love those scary pics the liberal Honolulu press chose to use, like one with a guy standing behind target checkers, as though he was preparing to shoot.

Do not try to deny it fish eye, you know damn well what they were doing with that pic.

And the rifle shooters, what the hell did that have to do with anything, other than those damn gun nutz blazing away at everything............

You Oahu guys best get angry, they are continuing to try and erode support for the only range you have.

Was it a double charge or someone going beyond published loads?  The first one would be unfortunate but understandable.

I think it's more coincidence than a recent trend.  Still a safe activity compared to others considering you're handling a potentially dangerous object and the large numbers of people shooting.  Shows the responsibility and discipline of gun owners.
