Check with state of Hawaii DLNR they should have hunting maps for sale that outlines all the hunting areas in great detail. The detail is so good that us HELO pilots on Kauai use them.

The best place I have been for bow hunting is the Pali. No guns or dogs allowed. If you are lazy like me take some pancake syrup. Put some on a well used trail. It's like crack to the pigs, brings them in.

Peacock flats is another good place. You need a hunting license to get up there so it keeps the poachers and their drama out. It's open to guns, bows, and dogs.

I'm lazy and don't like to walk far. These are the best I've been other then my friends back yard in pacific palisades. That was by far the easiest.

+1 for pacific palisades.

My friend used to live there and the boar would come right in the yard.

Good ole days.
