"One Team".  Two simple words that made be feel good and optimistic today.  This A.M. entering Ft. Shafter the sentry that checked my I.D.  said the usual welcome and how're you doing today.  After returning my I.D. he said "One Team".   IDK if it was only this soldier expressing Army-Navy unity ( ) because of the Navy Civilian CAC card or it's a new command thing that all mil sentries are supposed to say.   I hope it's a Army or command rule expressing a new optimism/enthusiasm due to our new POTUS, what he represents and MAGA.   Something like U.S. companies expressing renewed optimism  producing in America again.
Anyways to all service members on our board, Thank you for your service.   "ONE TEAM"

Where I work, there are personnel from all services as well as from foreign nations walking all over the compound.  Not positive on the rules, but sometimes you will see say a Navy petty officer salute say an Army officer, but sometimes not.  Today, I saw a Navy enlisted give a sharp salute to someone in a uniform that I didn't recognize, but it definitely wasn't US.  I think they were Aussie.  Anyways, the lady officer looked a little confused, but snapped a salute back.  That brief interaction sort of made me smile. 

Where I work, Joint Base that preach highly for "One Team, One Fight".    For sure no "One team" is in my department.  Navy, Air Force, and DOD Civilians don't get along and never will.  Sad to say, DOD tries to get along to all but some Military personnel refused to get along.  To much pride I guess.

Interesting.  I have not heard this yet but if it is an Army thing my CAC is via the Army.

What really interests me is that I have a lot of interaction with multiple entities where we do a 10 week program that includes Local, State, Federal LE and Military.  Military is primarily Army and Marines that are SRT or SF.  The SRT has heavy involvement in the MP thing.  Our motto for years during this training is "One Team" and we heavily stress this concept throughout the program.  At the close of every day after debrief the group comes together as in a team huddle and we do a "One Team" to end the day.  We stress solidarity going beyond agency or entity in that ultimately we are in this together as Americans, "One Team"!

Their vision states One Team so maybe it is a command thing.  Anyway it's very positive compared to the  leftwing slogans being spewed today.   Hope it grows.

Right on, thanks.  What's bumming me out is the renovations at the bowling center kitchen taking till April.    I love to eat breakfast there once a week and now it's closed.
