Chicago black gang leaders shitting in their pants, reached out via intermediary pastor, to Trump, to try and make a deal.

Compare with Obama, supposedly our "black president" who did what for Chicago crime in 8 years? Jack shit.

Created diversions to keep the public eye on "Chicago violence" and away from other hypocrisy, like ACA and other stuff.

For better or worse, seems like Trump is making good on many things.  Again, actions speak louder than words, as opposed to predecessors who talked the talk, but didn't really walk.  Hope Trump follows through.

The gangs promise to be good after Trump threatened to roll in the feds.

Agree with your sentiments. I was skeptical before, but 2 weeks in, he seems to have been making all the right moves.

Let's keep watching.

Still skeptical, but willing to give him a chance.  He's done some good things, while continuing to say pretty stupid things.  Maybe part of his overall master plan to keep his detractors distracted, I'm keeping an eye on his actions.  As far as actions, personally, I'm ok-happy with most.

I listened to most of this press conference this morning. I am still not completely impressed but I love the way he puts the media in its place. For me that has been worth the price of admission alone!!!  :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

That and he hasn't named a socialist "living document" advocate as candidate for the SCOTUS position nor implemented an executive order or sent legislation to Congress for "Australian style "compensated confiscation""...

Those coalminers seemed pleased today...

YES! I listened to the coal miner one this morning as well. In this presentation he seemed very much a regular type person. He gave up the mic and encouraged others to have a chance to say what they wanted to. Unrehearsed. Really showed off his personality. I can understand why regular Americans like him and voted for him.

If DJT was responsible for bringing violence in Chicago down, I have no doubt that Rahm, Obama, Valerie Jarrett and Moochelle would be trying to rally the troops (gang members) to keep the body count high.  Remember Rahm Emanuel saying "never let a good crisis go to waste".

That would mean EBT cards would stop working and other welfare would stop paying!

Oh, the humanity!
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
