Toyota Mechanic?
« on: February 05, 2017, 04:55:20 AM »
Looking to have a once over on my "new" toyota corolla just to be sure that its all good and ready to go. Its and old guy and could use a touch up or two. Do any of you guys have a reliable mechanic that you guys like to use? You know…the guy you can trust to do a good job and is fair on the job and price with no worries. I would really appreciate any offerings you guys have for me. Aloha!

Owners of both places are good friends of mine
Both places I would trust going to
Basic stuff I go to kapahulu auto repair
High performance stuff I go Nakaz. And he can do basic stuff too.

I haven't gone there in almost a year. I'll give them a call.
He can do any performance builds you want. He doesn't rebuild motors, but can install anything.
He did my SC, headers and exhaust, gears, fuel pumps, DS, rear end, clutch, suspension, camber plates and alignment, gauges, and probably more that I forgot.

Just called. Phone works. Answering machine comes on. He's usually closed sundays. Try call monday.

Here is another suggestion for you.
Mobotech in Kalihi. Small place and hard to find. Always busy.
My co-worker told me about this fellow. My co-worker takes care of our company fleet, so his word carries more than a little weight.
What, Me Worry?

Finally got my car to the shop yesterday. I ended up checking out Mobotech in Kalihi. Wow, Vic over there was awesome. Super helpful with trying to match our schedule's to get an appointment. He sent me photos by text of issues and then called to explain things. They did a full once over for me to make sure what needed to be fixed would be.  Some was stuff that he said could be done later but just wanted me to know. Never even tried to throw in extra stuff to make $$$. Dropped it off on Monday at 1000 and I was called by that same time today because they were all done. This is a great place to get work done on your car if you need. I will use Mobotech again for sure.

Mahaloos for all the tips from guys about mechanics. Coming from off island and not knowing which mechanic to Go to can be...well you know. Aloha :shaka:
