I posted this on one of the news sites reporting the Ninth decision... Let's hope Trump get the Circuit split into two and gets to appoint half the new judges to each (if there will be any new judges).

Hey America, Welcome to the Ninth Circuit! They recently decided (Peruta en banc) that there is no constitutionally-protected right to concealed carry, and they refused to comment on open carry, which leaves California residents in "no issue" counties without any means to "bear arms" outside their homes. That's not an "infringement"? It also leaves us in Hawaii, where not one single person in the entire state has a license to carry concealed (and open carry licenses only go to security guards), without any serious means to defend ourselves outside our homes. I'm sure the founders, by "right to bear arms" meant "you can carry in your house". Sure they did.

Here's who Trump was up against (guess which one was appointed by Obama and will be there almost forever, denying firearm owners their civil rights, among other things... "won the 2009 ACLU of Southern California’s LGBT Award...Much of Guess-who's practice at Munger Tolles has been devoted to representing those working for gay rights"... not that there's anything wrong with that.):

I think he had the power to implement the travel ban, however the way it was done is where he runs into constitutional issues. Similarities can be seen in the Korematsu case and the internment of Japanese. The courts said that the government had an interest in screening for spies but they failed because they made a screening process that was too broad.
