Graveyard shift posting.

Its funny how this forum just "goes to sleep" after 11pm.

We should make a graveyard shift thread.

The only rules are that you can only post here between 11:00pm and 7:00am.

Haha, anyone else up?

Natural born nightowl here, finally returning to my natural nightowl state since I retired.  (Two hours ahead of you guys, here in the Mountain Time Zone.)

It's just about 6:04 AM here I guess the posting time shown will be about 4AM your time.

Somewhere on this board is a histogram graph of your posting activity versus time of day, but for some reason I can't figure out how I got to that.  I guess my browser (IE) needs updating, but I hate updates.

I've been a nightowl since birth.  I used to drive my mother nuts because as a baby I'd be up all night and sleep all day.  She'd visit her friends during the day and I'd be conked out, and they'd all say what a good baby I was.  At least thats what she told me.

I had graveyards twice in my life, once as an overnight cab driver, once as a security guard, and except for normal daytime noises causing somewhat restless sleep, I seemd to fit into that nocturnal pattern quite well.

I suppose it's part of the natural variation in the gene pool --who knows whether someday natural-born nightowls will have a survival advantage and all those "dawn-to-dusk" types will die off at the crack of dawn.

I do believe that the radical and crazy notion that the Founders meant what they said, is gradually soaking through the judicial system.

Damn, I'm up super late tonight.

Just got back from 24 hour fitness and to my surprise, theres a bunch of schmo's there.

Aurite another night down in the books.  If all goes well I should be back on dayshift next week.  This should be my last post here for hopefully at least a month.  Unlike KK no shooting today  :( and no hot wife  :( .  Oops strike that last part she might actually read this forum.  :o

If I go I'll post from my mobile.  But I probably won't wake up until 9ish.

That's exactly what I'm thinking. Unless there's a Super Bowl party at the range....remote satellite hook-up anyone?

Pistol range was as deserted as I've ever seen it today, for whatever that's worth.  Got there at noon, and there were about five or six lanes in use.
