So, if he died in the custody of multiple law enforcement agencies, why would the cause of death be listed as an "Unattended Death?"

Its interesting how the media portrays this.
As a member of the law abiding public I want answers from the family as to how an ADULT (48 years of age) was able to free himself from court mandated training and try to force himself into an airport.
The lives of many were at stake.

I smell lawsuit.

Addicts are "victims", and therefore have more rights than everyday, non-victim-status people.  After all, it's society's fault these people are addicts.  The least society can do is share in the negative consequences along with the "victim."

In this day and age - what if he was a suicide bomber? He certainly acted in that way.

What are you asking for? I am saying a coroner needs to determine the cause of death and you ask me how I know that? That is what coroners do, find the cause of death.

Unattended means he was not under the care (attended) of a doctor or in a hospital.  Has nothing to do with if there are other people around him when he dies.

Sorry, I thought it was understood to be a general term. I always here it in news broadcasts. So and so died of unknown causes and police classified it as an unattended death, for example.
